Since my life has been so hectic of late, I haven’t really had the opportunity to work as much as I would like. So, my current commitment to keep making art is to do a drawing of a bird every single day, and post them here!

I do promise the images will be better than this one! I read a story about two birds who were flying together over a busy highway. One of the birds got hit by a vehicle. The other bird swooped down and hopped about it’s partner, crying out. The injured bird died on the pavement. Eventually, the anonymous photographer picked up the two birds, worried the partner would be injured.
Something about this story and the images the photographer took struck a chord with me.
